Scripture:
“The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”
— Psalm 27:1 (ESV)
Reflection:
Fear often finds its foothold in the unknown, but David declares with bold assurance: the Lord is light, salvation, and stronghold. These are not abstract ideas but present realities. Light dispels confusion, salvation secures your soul, and the stronghold protects against every threat. Let this truth steady you as you face the day—your confidence does not rest in circumstances, but in the unshakable character of God. In Him, fear loses its grip, and peace takes its place.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for being my light, my salvation, and my stronghold. Today, I will not fear because You are with me. Let Your truth calm my heart and strengthen my steps. Amen.
