Before the dawn had kissed the sky,
Before the earth was formed on high,
The voice of God declared His will,
And by His word, all things stood still.
The oceans roared at His command,
The mountains rose by sovereign hand.
The stars were flung with mighty grace,
Yet not one falls beyond His gaze.
The nations rage, their kingdoms fall,
But still, His throne outlasts them all.
No schemes of man, no fleeting might,
Can dim the Lord—He is our Light.
Through desert winds and valleys deep,
Through trials fierce and nights that weep,
His steadfast love shall be our song,
His faithfulness shall make us strong.
O wandering heart, why should you fear?
The King of heaven draws you near.
His mercy flows, His grace is free,
And in His wounds, our souls shall see—
That death is crushed, the grave undone,
The victory won by Christ the Son!
So lift your eyes, behold His face,
And walk by faith in boundless grace.
