At every crossroads, we are called to surrender daily, taking up our cross with faith, as we journey towards a deeper connection with Christ.

Morning Devotion – March 28, 2025

Scripture:

“The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”

— Lamentations 3:22–23 (ESV)

Reflection:

This morning, as the light breaks through the darkness, remember that God’s mercies are as fresh as the sunrise. In a world marked by change, God’s steadfast love stands unmoved—firm, faithful, and full. Each day is a gift wrapped in divine compassion, not because of our worthiness, but because of His covenant faithfulness. No sin is too great, no heart too broken, no failure too final for His new mercies. Begin today not in your own strength, but by resting in His unwavering love.

Prayer:

Lord, thank You for the dawn of this new day and the reminder that Your mercies are renewed. Let my heart be grounded in Your faithfulness, and my life reflect Your love in every word and deed. Amen.

Greek Word of the Day:

πίστις (pistis) — faith, trust, belief

This word encompasses more than intellectual assent; it denotes a wholehearted reliance and trust in God, especially regarding salvation through Christ.

Hebrew Word of the Day:

חֶסֶד (chesed) — steadfast love, mercy, covenant faithfulness

A rich term reflecting God’s loyal, gracious love. It’s the word used in Lamentations 3:22—His loyal love that never ends.

Walk in the truth of His mercies today.
